Hundreds of staff at The Pensions Regulator are taking part in a wave of strikes this month as pay talks remain deadlocked.

The number of workers who have newly enrolled into a pension scheme since the introduction of auto-enrolment (AE) has topped 11 million, according to new figures from The Pensions Regulator.

One in 20 (4%) defined benefit (DB) pension schemes remained open to new members in 2023, new data published today by The Pensions Regulator (TPR) shows.

Four hundred workers from The Pension Regulator will take part in a new 12-day strike starting later this month.
