Paraplanner – London – up to £45k (2937)

Recruit UK are working alongside a leading Chartered Status financial adviser and wealth planner who have been ranked as one of the top 30 financial adviser firms in the UK. The position is ideal for a strong paraplanner, with experience in dealing with HNW individuals and their families. Strong attention to detail, the ability to work unsupervised, under pressure and to tight deadlines are all essential as the role will entail research and report writing within a strong client focused team culture.

They are looking for a minimum of 3 years paraplanning experience, involving direct contact with sophisticated clients. You must be at least CII Diploma qualified (or IFS equivalent), have strong product knowledge, particularly with regard to pensions but also to a range of other investments such as ISAs, VCT/EIS, structured products etc. You should also have a sound understanding of protection and keep up to date with legislative changes.

The ideal candidate must be a resourceful and creative problem solver, capable of embracing the role quickly and progressing to work largely unsupervised, delivering an outstanding planning experience based on a broad and deep technical knowledge and exceptional attention to detail.
