Wealth manager Quilter is to open up its HNW propositions to external independent financial advisers working with wealthy clients.

The Financial Vulnerability Taskforce, the industry body campaigning for better treatment of vulnerable clients, has launched a new guide to help planners work better with clients who are vulnerable due to experiencing ‘sudden wealth.’

The pandemic has resulted in a boom in younger clients signing up for Financial Planning services, according to Plymouth-based national Financial Planner Continuum.

Three in 10 (29%) of clients say that their wealth managers may have incorrectly assessed their attitude to investment risk.
