Institute of Financial Planning chief executive Nick Cann will be providing advisers with tips for RDR change at this year’s Ascentric conference.
The Ascentric annual conferences will be held in Manchester, Bristol and London at the end of November.
The theme of this years conference is ‘managing change’ to help support the decisions advisers are making regarding RDR.
The three sections will be supporting business change, the impact of investment solutions and putting strategies in place to cope with change.
Mr Cann will be offering advisers guidance on developing post-RDR propositions, training for qualifications and ways to add value to their customer interactions.
Also offering tips will be consultant Steve Billingham and Philip Calvert from IFA Life.
There will also be masterclasses from M&G, iShares, BNY Mellon and Ashcourt Rowan on investment approaches and styles. This will be followed by a debate on running adviser practices and the wider IFA market.
Finally, keynote speaker Corporal Andy Reid, who sustained severe injuries in Afghanistan, will share the skills needed to succeed when confronted by obstacles and overcome adversity.
Dominic Ventham, head of marketing at Ascentric, said: “I wanted to put together a speaker line up that could focus on the significant opportunities that change can bring.
“I hope that attendees will come away armed with a range of strategies they can use to shape their future business plans and draw real inspiration from the speakers that implement them successfully.”
The conferences will take place at Mere Golf & Country Club in Manchester on 22 November, Watershed in Bristol on 24 November and Dexter House in London on 28 November.
