The Chancellor has announced the launch of a new British ISA and changes to ISA allowances as part of a raft of new measures introduced in his Spring Budget to boost investment in UK businesses.

Adviser platform Parmenion has revamped its ISA to enable its better use as a Financial Planning tool allowing flexible withdrawals and top ups without losing tax benefits.

The most-bought funds and investment trusts in April included global equities, commodities and renewables - tentatively suggesting investor confidence is starting to return.
