Nearly two out of three over-55s couples have never had retirement planning advice, according to a new survey.

New research suggests that the number of people considering a career in financial advice is growing as demand for professional financial advisory staff rises.

Despite the rise of technology the overwhelming majority of adults (75%) would prefer face to face engagement with a financial adviser, research has found.  

Financial advice network Openwork has achieved a seventh year of profit growth, with pre-tax profits hitting a new record of £22.6m, enabling the business to pay its first ever dividend to shareholders.
