The former owner of Norton Motorcycles - Stuart James Garner - has been given an eight month suspended prison sentence for illegally investing pension schemes’ money into his business.

The former owner of Norton Motorcycles has admitted illegally investing money into the firm from three pension schemes where he was the sole trustee.  

It said that all advisers, administrators, trustees and providers should take responsibility for protecting pension savers by joining its pledge to combat pension scams.

An ambassador for Gambia has been ordered to pay more than £80,000 after being found guilty of withholding information from The Pensions Regulator (TPR).
