Nearly eight out of 10 clients (79%) of a leading Chartered Financial Planner firm say that taking advice from a Chartered Planner is “essential” to their financial decision-making.

Financial Planning firms have cut back on recruitment and growth plans as they reassess ambitions for 2022 due to the cost-of-living crisis, according to a new report.

Two in three (64%) households that currently save have either already decreased or stopped their savings habit altogether, or expect to have to do so, due to increased living costs.

The FCA is to carry out an extensive survey of solo-regulated firms to assess how they are coping with the cost of living crisis.
