Financial Planning Today has been named as a finalist for 'Personal Finance News Outlet' in the PFS Annual Awards for 2025/26 which will be presented in London next week.

The awards will also see some of the UK’s leading Financial Planners and Paraplanners crowned.

The event takes place at the Sea Containers building on the South Bank of the Thames on 23 October with media personality and commentator Sarah Pennells hosting.

The London-based Personal Finance Society has about 40,000 members and awards the Chartered Financial Planner designation.

This year women have a strong showing, with three of the four finalists for Chartered Financial Planner of the Year female. Both short listed finalists for the Paraplanner of the Year Awards are women: Naomi Draycott, Colyer Associates and Stephanie Tennant, Accelerate Adviser Solutions.

Finalists for the Chartered Financial Planner of the Year Award are Emma Cherrington of Active Chartered Financial Planners, Rhiannon Gogh of PlanIt Future Financial, Dominic McLoughney, Becketts FS and Zoe Taylor of Lawrence Neil Wealth Management.
