These are some of the unexpected ways UK Financial Planners choose to spend their time when they are not at work.
The varied pastimes were revealed while planning for a new photography exhibition on their private passions called ‘Adviser Stories’.
The installation will be unveiled at the inaugural Financial Planner Marketing Summit on June 20.
Stark black and white portraits of 20 Financial Planners will be accompanied by personal accounts of defining life events and pursuits – penned by the subjects themselves.
They have been collected over a six month period by adviser tech platform Advicefront.
Advicefront co-founder, José Supico, said: “It occurred to us that what unifies Financial Planners up and down the country is that they know the value of time.
“After all, quality time is essentially what they are trying to help their clients create.
“So we wanted to test this theory by looking into the ways in which they spend their own time.
“Sure enough, we stumbled across a treasure trove of poignant and inspiring stories.
“We wanted to celebrate this by commissioning a photography series and we’re thrilled to be unveiling it in front of Financial Planners themselves.”
Conference organiser Martin Bamford, of Bamford Media, added: “This is a wonderful project, which holds a mirror up to the UK Financial Planning industry in an entirely new way.
“We’re expecting lots of interest in the photography and stories.”
