Mr Netherway began his advisory career with NatWest, later becoming an IFA.
He will continue to work in and around his native Barnstaple, with clients throughout the South West.
He said Continuum's investment in technology and the ability to continue working with local clients were deciding factors in him joining the firm.
Mr Netherway said: “With my specialist knowledge, and the extra scope provided by Continuum support, I can provide many more people with the help they need when they are thinking about their financial future.’’
