To coincide with the Black Friday shopping frenzy today, pension and software provider Selectapension is offering financial advisers up to £100 off all new subscriptions.

Selectapension will offer discounts on all its software tools including Defined Benefit TVAS, Income Drawdown & Annuity, Asset Reviewer, Money Purchase, Provider Comparison, and QROPs transfer tools.

The one-day only promotion will also enable current subscribers to add additional tools to their Selectapension package. The offer will be available today between 9am-5pm (Friday 24 November).

Selectapension hopes to improve on last year’s record success where its Black Friday offer saw a 27% increase in sales in 2016, compared to 2015.

Andy McCabe, managing director of Selectapension, said: “There continues to be increasing demand for professional financial advice and our technology can play an invaluable role in making the analysis and comparison aspect of the planning process both comprehensive and more efficient.”

“Black Friday is undeniably the biggest sales day in the consumer shopping calendar and we wanted to ensure advisers and their businesses could take advantage of lower prices too.”

Many UK online and high street retailers are participating in today’s Black Friday Sale, an idea imported from the US which sees one-day or short term discounts offered. Last year in the UK an estimated £6.5bn was spent overall with retailers (up 12% year on year) during Black Friday week, said Selectapension.

Selectapension provides pensions and investment planning technology for the intermediary and enterprise markets. It was founded in 2004 by managing director Andy McCabe.
