Financial Planning Today spoke exclusively to former Paraplanner Martin Vaughan, founder of Clear Advice and Clear Capital Management, about his expanding investment and Financial Planning businesses and his plans.
Asked how he looks after clients and keeps them happy, Nottingham-based Mr Vaughan said: “Service – the company is centred around the client, whoever that is, and we strive to provide all of our clients with a good service.
“This doesn’t mean doing absolutely everything they want, it’s a two-way street and any relationship is about partnership, not about one party doing everything solely for the benefit of the other.
“If you both work together for everyone’s best interests you achieve a greater outcome.”
Speaking about his future plans he added that he intends “to grow the business to the point where it becomes interesting to other firms in terms of collaboration and partnership.”
More personally Mr Vaughan explained what he likes to do away from work.
He said: “Travelling, listening to music and making the most of every day with the people who matter to me.
“We only have one life, so I want to try to be a good person, create a nice environment for those around me and enjoy it.”
