Aegon’s assets under administration in the UK have reached £200bn for the first time as the provider continues to increase scale in the UK pensions and savings markets.

Pension and investment provider Aegon UK has acquired retirement information, communication and events specialist firm Pension Geeks.

Those who have taken financial advice are more likely to enjoy life because of the way they are managing their money (34%) compared to those that have not taken advice (24%), according to a new report.

Aegon’s UK profits rose to £71m for the first half of 2020, driven by higher fee income from a growth in platform assets and improved protection earnings.
