Chancellor extends RPI consultation to August

Chancellor Rishi Sunak has extended the consultation on scrapping the RPI inflation measure by four months to August.


CPI inflation rate falls by 0.1% to 1.7%

The Consumer Prices Index (CPI) 12-month rate fell from 1.8% in January to 1.7% in February.
