The FCA has today published new proposals on how it will prepare for the  possibility that the UK will leave the European Union on 29 March  without “an implementation period.”

Andrew Bailey has called on EU regulators to better engage with the FCA to reach agreement ahead of Brexit.

Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond has made a pledge to investment professionals that the “ecosystem of prosperity” would be retained after Brexit.

The FCA today published two consultation papers, setting out its proposals in the event the UK leaves the European Union on 29 March next year without an implementation period.
