Financial Planning Standards Board Ltd (FPSB) and a global community of professional Financial Planning bodies representing over 181,000 Certified Financial Planner professionals have revealed the date of the third annual World Financial Planning Day.

The Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment is to relaunch its Certified Financial Planner designation with a new pathway which will move the qualification up from Level 6 to Level 7.

Certified Financial Planner numbers dipped in the UK last year as a new record was set worldwide.  

Starting today Financial Planners from across the globe are gathering in Bangkok, Thailand, to discuss the future of the profession.
