Economic growth will slow to a crawl next year, according to a Treasury poll of leading economic forecasters. 

In his Autumn Budget today Chancellor Rishi Sunak warned MPs that inflation would likely average 4% over the next year.

UK GDP saw modest growth in August with an increase of 0.4% but remains 0.8% below its pre-Coronavirus pandemic level seen of February 2020.

UK gross domestic product (GDP) rose 4.8% between April and June according to data released this morning by the Office for National Statistics.
