Funds under management held in responsible investment funds have risen 66% over the past 12 months, according to new statistics.

Responsible investment funds attracted a record £1.1bn in net retail sales in December.

Net retail fund sales reached a record monthly high of £8.3bn in November 2020, beating the previous record of £5.7bn set in September 2017, according to the latest data from the Investment Association.

The Investment Association, the fund managers’ trade body, has urged the Government to include online investment scams in its new Online Harms Bill.
