Financial Planners have told Financial Planning Today that they expect a rise in wealth management and financial advice M&A deals this year.

The number of poorly-performing investment funds ‘named and shamed’ by Bestinvest’s ‘Spot The Dog’ report has halved over the past 6 months from 150 down to 77.

Bestinvest has reported a 33% rise in the number of poorly performing ‘dog’ funds over the past year with some major names faring badly, according to its latest ‘Spot The Dog’ fund report.
