Data and research provider Morningstar has announced the funds and fund groups who have triumphed in its Morningstar UK Fund Awards 2017.

Research of the fund management sector has found that the number of female fund managers in the UK has remained at 13% - the same as in 2008.

Morningstar, a provider of investment research, is to extend the Morningstar Analyst Ratings to exchange-traded funds globally, allowing investors to compare investments across fund types.
