The FCA has urged victims to come forward after it was granted a confiscation order against three jailed conmen.

Samrat Bhandari, who played a prime role in an investment scam which cheated often vulnerable investors out of over £1.4m, has been sentenced today at Southwark Crown Court to a total of 3.5 years’ in prison.

Four men who cheated 300 retired and often vulnerable investors out of £1.4m have been sent to jail, in one case for up to 15 months.

Four men will be sentenced later this month for their involvement in an investment scheme scam which saw more than 300 investors - many of them retired or vulnerable - ripped off for a total of £1.4m.
