Nearly one in 10 (9%) over-60s say they are planning to delay their retirement indefinitely due to the cost of living crisis, according to a new study.

People in poor health have poor finances too, with just one in 20 having high levels of financial resilience compared to a third of people in good health.

Only 23% of women are confident they will be able to retire comfortably with over a third (35%) expecting to be unable to enjoy a decent income in retirement.

Financial product data provider Moneyfacts has rebranded its consumer website as Moneyfactscompare.co.uk to reinforce it as “the completely independent money comparison website.”
