Financial Planning tools provider Distribution Technology is joining forces with Saga and Financial Planning firm Tilney Bestinvest to develop a web-based retirement service.

Wealth manager Towry has been sold by private capital firm Palamon to Tilney Bestinvest for £600 million in a deal which creates one of the UK’s biggest wealth management businesses.

Tilney Bestinvest has appointed Alan Edwards as its new head of investment management for England. 

Pershing, a BNY Mellon company, is to provide full UK wrap administration and execution capabilities to Saga Investment Services, the new joint venture from Tilney Bestinvest and over-50s provider Saga.
