UK dividends jumped 51.2% to £25.7bn in the second quarter, beating expectations, according to a new report.

Total customers for investment platform AJ Bell increased by 27% to 295,305 over the course of its financial year ending 30 September.

Aviva has announced in its latest interim report that it will pay out a dividend of nearly a third less than it did before the Coronavirus pandemic.

AJ Bell is to provide access on its adviser platform to selected DFM funds from the second half of 2020, it revealed in its six month interim results out today.
