The Financial Conduct Authority has won a court order to obtain £1.6 million from Argento Wealth Ltd (AWL) and its sole director Mr Daniel Willis who is accused of promoting two alleged unlawful investment schemes. 

Johnston Carmichael Wealth, part of accountancy and business advisory firm Johnston Michael, has expanded to Dundee following two senior appointments based the city.

The Financial Ombudsman Service expects the number of complaints it will receive this year to hit 210,000 - nearly 30,000 higher than predicted in December.
