Wealth manager and Financial Planner Titan Wealth Planning has acquired £650m AUA Bath Financial Planning firm Morgans Limited, for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisition brings around 3,000 clients, five advisers and eight members of support staff to Titan’s business in the southwest of England.
Morgans was founded in 1992, following a management buyout from Morgan Insurance Brokers Ltd of Staffordshire, a company that had traded since the 1950s.
The firm specialises in Financial Planning and wealth management services to private clients, trusts, and corporate entities and has office in Bath and Cheltenham
Titan said the deal will allow Morgans’ clients to access a broader range of services, including Titan’s investment management capabilities and technology-driven solutions, while providing career development opportunities for Morgans’ team.
The acquisition strengthens Titan Wealth’s offering in Bath and the surrounding area, the firm said, complementing its existing regional footprint from nearby Bristol.
It said Morgans’ focus on personalised service and its strong local heritage align with Titan’s strategy to continue to grow locally-based wealth planning services across the UK.
Andrew Fearon, co-CEO and Head of M&A, Titan Wealth, said: “This acquisition is a part of our commitment to offer broad wealth management to clients across the country –We’re very much looking forward to welcoming the Morgans team.”
Titan Wealth was formed in 2021 and serves clients domestically as well as overseas through its operations in the Channel Islands and the UAE. Titan Wealth has approximately £36bn of assets under management or advice.
