Jonathan Gunby
Jonathan Gunby, the former CEO of adviser platform Transact, has joined professional referrals platform RQ as a board adviser.
Mr Gunby worked at Transact from 2011 in a number of roles including chief development officer and latterly CEO.
He retired from Transact in March, handing over the reins to chief development officer Tom Dunbar.
RQ said Mr Gunby will bring “deep industry knowledge” and platform experience gained over a 40 year career to help its Financial Planning clients grow through professional referrals via the platform.
RQ is a referral platform for professional services firms and aims to replace ad-hoc email referrals with a compliant, trackable system which integrates with CRMs.
Mr Gunby said: "RQ is tackling a challenge that matters to every Financial Planner and adviser - maximising the impact of introducer relationships, and making them simple, reliable, and effective.
RQ’s CEO Johnny Ridd said: “I’m honoured to welcome Jonathan to the RQ team as a board adviser. He brings a wealth of experience and connections within the Financial Planning sector and beyond. Jonathan is highly respected across the profession, and we’re thrilled to have him on board.”
While Mr Gunby was at Transact, Funds under Direction grew from £10 billion to over £65 billion, and he played a major role in floating the holding company, Integrafin. Before Transact, he was executive director at NMG Holdings.
