The former director of a social enterprise company which employed blind and disabled people has denied allegations that he defrauded his workers’ pensions.

Strike action by members of the Public and Commercial Services (PCS) union at The Pensions Regulator has been suspended and staff returned to work last Wednesday. 

Some 16% of defined contribution pension schemes with under £100m in assets scrutinised by The Pensions Regulator (TPR) has opted to wind up after a pilot into the effectiveness of its new rules on value for members.
