The first award was awarded for 'Branch Chairman of the Year' and this went to Claire Menni from the Surrey branch. Ms Menni will be stepping down from the Surrey branch at the end of this year and taking over from Dennis Hall at the London branch.
Nick Cann, chief executive of the IFP, said: "Our congratulations to Claire for winning this award which is well deserved.
"On behalf of everyone at the IFP in particular our members, I'd like to thank all our branch chairmen for the fantastic job they do in providing the key links between the membership and the IFP."

Ms Menni said: "For me it was nice to see that the hard work that goes into organising branch meetings is recognised in this way. However, there are lots of other branch chairmen doing great things too right across the UK – it's not just me!
"At Surrey branch I've been lucky to have had a very loyal 'core' of attendees which make the branch such a success – I am merely a facilitator!"
Shane Mulllins, managing director of Fiscal Engineers, received the Tony Sellon Memorial Prize 'Good Egg' Award.
This was given for his development of the Question of Trust campaign and engagement with the industry in promoting the work of Financial Planning and the Trust campaign.
Mr Mullins was also the winner of the David Norton 'Building Excellence' award at last year's IFP conference.
Dale Longshaw, Bernadette Carey, Laura Woof and Adam Daniel from Manchester Metropolitan University won the Team Challenge award, sponsored by Seven Investment Management.
Earlier in the day Cooper Parry Wealth Strategies won the David Norton 'Building Excellence' award and Jane Holt from Mackenzie Financial Planning won Paraplanner of the Year.
