The week ran from 26 November-2 December and was well supported by Financial Planners and large financial services firms alike.
Sue Whitbread, communications director for the IFP, said: "We've made real progress over and above the previous four years. The notable area has been member engagement. Previously, engagement with the campaign has been limited but this year people have seized on it by going to schools, writing blogs and holding surgeries.
"They've been thinking about the message they're putting out to consumers which has been really positive to see emerging."
She said media coverage online and in print had been up by over 50 per cent on the previous year.

Of particular note was radio coverage which was more mainstream than previous years. Many Financial Planners got involved with their local radio stations and chief executive Nick Cann gave interviews to several stations such as BBC Wales and to Radio Nottingham which was syndicated throughout the Midlands.
Use of Twitter was successful and the IFP even held its first Twitter interview with Mr Cann, President Rebecca Taylor FIFP CFP^CM and vice-president Alan Dick CFP^CM. It is estimated there were over 1,000 tweets throughout the week using the hashtag #fpwuk and many more which mentioned the week.
Ms Whitbread said: "Next year we'd like to see even more engagement with Financial Planners and make money and finance less boring and more mainstream."
