Hugh McKee will become managing director of the group's life insurance company and Paul Turner takes on the role of group director in business development.
Mr McKee was previously at Royal London, where he was managing director of Scottish Provident, and Prudential, where he was head of UK new business.
He was responsible for annuity distribution deals and bulk annuity transactions. For the last three years he has been a non-executive board member of the UK's last remaining trustee savings bank, the Airdrie Savings Bank.

Mr Turner held senior positions at Swiss Re from 2008 onwards, including director in Swiss Re Globals Division, based in Hong
Kong and also has over 20 years of insurance industry experience.

The appointments are subject to regulatory approval.
