Jeff Hunt has been given the role of managing director, taking over from Robert Birmingham, who remains executive chairman.
Mr Hunt joined Xafinity Consulting in June 2013 as deputy managing director. Immediately prior to joining Xafinity Jeff was managing director of TradeRisks before which he was a partner at KPMG for eight years.
Since joining Xafinity Jeff has overseen significant changes at Xafinity, including the review and implementation of a new business plan, the roll out of a new IT infrastructure and the introduction of an Employee Benefit Trust, a share ownership plan for all employees in the company.

Mr Hunt said the company is looking to grow significantly in the next few years.
He said: "I am in the privileged position of taking over the management of a high performing company that already has strong leadership and exceptionally talented staff."
Mr Birmingham said: "Jeff has already made a huge contribution to Xafinity in his relatively short time with us.
"His energy, vision and enthusiasm mark him out as an exemplary leader.
