The first element to go live will be ‘SnapShot’, an online aggregation hub providing ‘one view’ portfolio access across a client’s investments, assets and liabilities.
Already well known for Voyant Adviser, Voyant’s new Canvas technology platform will provide the development framework for a range of new and innovative solutions aimed at larger-scale adviser distributors, banks and wealth management companies.
The new SnapShot service will allow advisers, relationship managers, and consumers to review, track, and update the progress of a client’s plan in between face to face sessions, enhancing overall service and client communication. Both the Canvas platform and Snapshot service will provide enterprise organisations with a flexible consumer-facing client management solution, suitable for both fact-finds and ongoing servicing.
David Kaufman, Voyant’s CEO, said: “SnapShot compares today’s account balances and portfolio balances with the values and portfolios agreed upon during the planning process. It is ideal for the adviser or relationship manager doing monthly or quarterly reviews and calling to update the client on not just market performance, but overall plan progress.
He continued: “With a single view of the aggregated portfolio, it is perfect for visualising the need to rebalance portfolios or even when to ask the client back in to review the plan. In all cases it extends conversation and the value of advice, based on a simple and easy to understand ‘one view’ portfolio display”.The beta launch of Voyant’s new Snapshot service will go live this week and the company is keen to invite its adviser users and partners to get involved in the testing process.
Bob Freeman, head of Voyant’s UK adviser operation, said: “We have already shown the early stage ‘Snapshot’ service to several larger banks and enterprise organisations, with some great feedback to date. But to ensure it meets the needs of professional advisers and importantly their clients, we are inviting some of our users to participate in the beta testing of the service before it goes live. Getting feedback from the adviser users will be vital in ensuring that our integrated partners and the larger distributor groups receive maximum support for what is a hugely important initiative for us.”
Fully integrated with Voyant’s established adviser solution, the new Canvas development platform provides a configurable framework, using an HTML5 presentation layer, for cross platform usability on iPad, Android, and desktop systems.
