The event will take place at Birmingham’s NEC and the PFS says there is space for plenty more people to attend the free event which takes place on 7 and 8 November. If more people book and more space is needed the NEC can provide further floor space meaning in theory thousands more can attend.
England’s World Cup winning rugby coach Sir Clive Woodward will headline the Festival of Financial Planning and so far 76 expert speakers and 80 exhibitors have also signed up to take part.
Former pensions ministers Baroness Ros Altman and Sir Steve Webb are among the other high profile speakers. Financial Planning coach Paul Armson from Inspiring Advisers will offer insights on delivering a compelling client value proposition.
Financial commentator and economist Stephanie Flanders and 7IM founder Justin Urquhart Stewart will explain the likely impact of Brexit on the Financial Planning sector, while Richard Mullender will share his experiences as a former hostage and crisis negotiator at Scotland Yard.

The PFS this year merged its regional Financial Planning conferences and symposiums into one big event under the Festival theme - billed as a Glastonbury-style get together to celebrate the best in the Financial Planning and Paraplanning professions and to encourage networking and dialogue.
The PFS hopes that the big and colourful style will distinguish the event from a typical conference.
