Peter Hales and Barry Kayes will take up the roles of chairman and deputy chairman of the board respectively.
Chairman Peter Hales is a past president of the CII and former sales and marketing director and board member of Norwich Union (now Aviva). Mr Hales also holds a number of non-executive director positions including Skipton Building Society and Unum.
Barry Kayes, deputy chairman, has extensive experience of the provider and Intermediary sides of the sector including senior positions with Scottish Life, Friends Provident and The Hartford and 12 years as chairman of IFA network Tenet. He also sits on the AIFA Board and is a former member of the CII Life and Pensions Faculty Board.
