The Financial Conduct Authority has provisionally fined Crispin Odey of Odey Asset Management LLP (OAM) £1.8m and provisionally banned him from the financial services industry for a lack of integrity. 

The FCA has fined trader Mako Financial Markets Partnership LLP £1,662,700 for failing to ensure it had effective systems and controls to guard against financial crime.

The FCA has fined investment provider Infinox Capital Limited £99,200 for failing to submit 46,053 transaction reports.

The FCA has fined interdealer broker Arian Financial (FRN 415230) £288,962.53 for failing to ensure it had effective systems and controls against financial crime.

New analysis of FCA fines data by Financial Planning Today has revealed that the total sum of financial penalties imposed by the regulator in 2024 tripled compared to 2023.
