IFA consolidator Absolute Financial Group has made four acquisitions in the South East of England to add £134m in assets under advice.
Three of the deals are the acquisitions of client books of advisers who are retiring, with the fourth Financial Planning firm joining Absolute to continue advising its clients.
The three firms where owners are retiring are T&L Financial Services, the trading name of JM Financial Planning, based in Eastbourne; Paul Tune Financial Services, based in Battle; and Clear Sense Financial Planning, based in Chichester.
Clients of the three firms will transfer to Absolute and be supported by existing planners in the South East.
Horton Independent Financial Planning, based in Canterbury, has also joined the group and will continue to work with Absolute following the acquisition.
Absolute now has more than £2.4bn in AUA following the deals. The latest deals take the total acquisitions completed to 14 since the launch of Absolute in December 2025.
Absolute launched with the acquisition of £1.1bn AUA firm Absolute Financial Management, based in the South East, in August 2025.
The consolidator added three Financial Planning acquisitions, adding £255m in assets under advice, in April.
Absolute Financial Group has been backed by a £115m equity commitment from Inflexion Private Equity Partners.
Absolute is led by chief executive David Carter, formerly CEO of CMS Wealth. Its non-executive chairman is Paul Hogarth, founder of Tatton Asset Management and Perspective Financial Group.
Mr Carter said: “Our national growth strategy continues at pace with the latest deals demonstrating the flexibility of our model for firm owners and a commitment to working with them to find the best solution for them and their clients.”
The firm said under its partnership program, it makes an initial investment and agrees a buyout plan for the remaining share capital in the future providing a long-term exit for owners.
