Total advised customers have risen 6% year-on-year at investment platform AJ Bell to reach 191,000 by the end of June.
Direct customer numbers rose by 30% year-on-year to 571,000 as at 30 June.
Assets under administration ended the quarter at £121.5bn, a 26% rise year-on-year and a rise of 12% over the quarter.
Net inflows into the platform rose 43% year-on-year to £3bn over the quarter, with gross inflows rising 50% year-on-year to end the quarter at £6bn.
The platform attributed favourable market movements as contributing 9% of opening assets under administration over the quarter.
The platform’s investment business also saw a strong quarter, with assets under management rising 41% year-on-year and 16% in the quarter to £11.4bn. It reported record net inflows for the quarter of £0.8bn (Q2 2025: £0.4bn).
The quarter ended 30 June is the third for the financial year for the platform.
Michael Summersgill, CEO at AJ Bell, said the platform’s performance demonstrates the attractiveness of low-cost propositions.
He said: “On the Advised platform, recent enhancements to our distribution approach continue to gain traction, helping to drive another record quarter of gross inflows.
“Our low-cost investment solutions continue to receive strong demand from both D2C customers and advisers, with our funds and MPS propositions managed by AJ Bell Investments attracting record net inflows.”
During the quarter AJ Bell announced a reduction in the charge for its core MPS range from 0.15% to 0.12% per annum, coming into effect from October. The lower pricing will be applied to existing and new MPS clients.
