Fund manager Albemarle Street Partners (ASPIM) is to rebrand from 1 February and will become WisdomTree Portfolio Solutions, using its new owner's name.
The move comes after rival fund manager, US-owned Wisdom Tree, acquired Albemarle owner Atlantic House in May.
Albemarle Street Partners provides a Managed Portfolio Service (MPS) and a range of multi-asset funds sold through advisers.
Albemarle says its existing investment team, “philosophy and open-architecture approach” will remain unchanged but advisers will benefit from access to WisdomTree’s wider research, investment expertise and resources.
The deal should also boost WisdomTree’s Portfolio Solutions business across Europe.
Charlie Parker, head of ASPIM, said: “We are proud of what we have built at Albemarle Street Partners, a business centred on understanding advisers and developing investment solutions around their individual investment philosophies and the needs of their clients.
“Rebranding to WisdomTree Portfolio Solutions allows us to build on those foundations. Our team and investment approach remain the same and we will draw more extensively on WisdomTree’s research and investment expertise, strengthening our capabilities and what we can deliver for advisers and their clients.”
Mr Parker’s job title will change on 2 November 2026 to head of portfolio solutions, Europe. Adviser and client documentation, communications and digital materials will be updated to reflect the new identity.
WisdomTree said it sees a significant opportunity to “deepen” its relationships with financial advisers across the continent, expanding the solutions available to them .
Alexis Marinof, CEO, Europe, WisdomTree said: “This is more than a name change. It reflects our commitment to build on the great work of Albemarle Street Partners in the UK and support more advisers, by responding to growing demand for investment and portfolio solutions that genuinely help meet the long-term objectives of their clients.
“The UK remains a key focus, alongside our long-term ambition to expand our Portfolio Solutions offering across Europe. We will continue to invest in the people, capabilities and solutions that help advisers meet their evolving needs and deliver for their clients in the UK and Europe.”
The trading name change will come into effect at the same time as the planned change of name of the legal entity, Atlantic House Investments Limited, to WisdomTree Investment Management Europe Limited. The changes are subject to regulatory and other approvals and take effect when registered by Companies House, which we expect to be on 1 February 2027.
