Coventry-based BRI Wealth Management has completed its acquisition of Gloucestershire-based financial advisory firm, FutureFocus Advisory Limited, for an undisclosed amount.

The deal brings approximately £40m in additional client assets under management to BRI.
FutureFocus Advisory is based in Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire and provides financial advice across pensions, retirement planning, investments and life assurance.
The firm was founded in 1999 by Colin Donlon, who is set to retire.

Mr Donlon said: “I am proud to have guided the firm to this stage, and it has been a pleasure to get to know Dan and his team at BRI. This partnership will give our clients access to the expertise and resources needed with their long-term financial and investment planning needs in mind."
Dan Boardman-Weston, chief executive at BRI Wealth Management, said: "This acquisition underlines our commitment to offering a client-first alternative to private equity-driven consolidation. I want to thank Colin for everything he has done to bring FutureFocus Advisory to this point and wish him all the best in his well-earned retirement.”
BRI Wealth Management is an independently-owned wealth management company and was established more than 50 years. It advises private clients, families, trusts and charities.
BRI has continued to experience record client inflows in 2025, taking total funds under management (FUM) to approximately £720m, an all-time high, and expects to hit £800m next year.
In 1993 it expanded its Midlands presence with the acquisition of two Financial Planning firms.
In June, the firm appointed Toni Meadows as head of investments, responsible for overseeing daily operations and advancing the firm’s investment offering. He previously served as chief investment officer at Omnis Investments, The Private Office, Close Brothers Asset Management, and served as head of investment services at Towry.
