Financial Planning firm Calton is to launch a support network for self-employed advisers later this year.
Evergreen has been designed to support self-employed advisers to grow their business by providing technology, processes, and a training support and a mentoring community.
It will also offer succession planning options.
It will also offer an academy to support new Planners through qualification to CAS status.
The Evergreen network will be led by Hayley Rabbets, and is expected to launch in the second half of 2026.
Ms Rabbets said: “In my experience of bringing new talent into the profession, the barriers don’t disappear when people achieve their qualifications. It’s amazing to see the diversity we have coming through the door, and it’s imperative that we don’t lose talent due to lack of opportunity.
“The ambition we have with Evergreen is to fix those pathways; provide an easier route in, support business growth and make sure people are thinking about succession planning much earlier.”
Ms Rabbets has joined Calton to launch the network from Pilot, where she has been working on a fixed term contract to support the launch of its advice technology. She was previously head of The Verve Foundation
Calton is a Financial Planning firm founded by Tom Ham in 2021. It is headquartered in Edinburgh, with offices in London and the Scottish Borders.
Mr Ham has planned an initiative like Evergreen since the launch of Calton in 2021.
He said: “This is the start of a movement that will bring excellent financial planning to more people in a firm that supports planners and clients on every step of the way.”
