The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and the Personal Finance Society (PFS) are inviting applications for the next cohort of their flagship New Generation Programme.
The programme offers up to 60 emerging professionals from across the UK the opportunity to develop leadership skills, raise their professional profiles and help shape the future of the profession.
The programme is in its 17th year. It brings together talented individuals from across the insurance and personal finance professions who have demonstrated a commitment to professional development and a passion for making positive contributions to the sector.
Participants join a diverse cohort of peers and take part in a programme of learning, collaboration and sector engagement designed to broaden perspectives, build influence and develop future leaders.
Programme highlights include:
• Direct access to senior industry, regulatory and policy leaders
• A parliamentary visit and regulatory insights session, providing first hand exposure to the policy and regulatory landscape shaping the professions
• Professional media and presentation skills including podcast participation, public speaking opportunities and thought leadership activities
• Innovation focused sessions led by industry experts EDII, exploring the trends, challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the profession
• A year end showcase event, presenting ideas and insights to a panel of senior professionals gaining valuable feedback and professional visibility

Applications are open to CII and PFS members who hold a minimum qualification of Dip CII, CertPFS or an equivalent qualification and have between five and 10 years’ experience within insurance or personal finance. Applications close on 7 August.
