Wealth manager and Financial Planner Evelyn Partners has made two senior Financial Planning appointments to bolster its London team.
Sukaina Karim-Hussein has been appointed director, Financial Planning, while Hector Millar has become associate director, Chartered Financial Planner.
Ms Karim-Hussein has joined the firm from Coutts where she spent almost three years advising entrepreneurs on pre- and post-exit planning, with a particular focus on female founders. She has eight years of experience in the wealth management industry.
Mr Millar has joined Evelyn after eight years at City-based Financial Planning firm London Wall Partners. He specialises in working with City professionals, particularly partners of Magic Circle law firms, with a focus on retirement planning and preparing for life beyond work.
James Springham, senior client partner at Evelyn Partners, said: "Sukaina and Hector‘s combined experience and expertise will strengthen our advisory capabilities as we continue to grow our Total Wealth Management proposition. The combination of a dedicated FinancialPplanner and investment manager working together is a really powerful one.”
The firm has been busy boosting its Financial Planning capabilities this year, adding to the company’s existing team of 300 Financial Planning professionals.
In July it recruited Philip Lewis from Fisher Investments UK to take up the newly-created role of head of Financial Planning advice.
His remit includes leading regulatory and operational projects to improve processes, producing strategic plans to drive improvements, delivering training programmes and hosting client events.
Evelyn Partners was created in 2020 when Tilney and Smith & Williamson merged. It has £64.6bn of assets under management (as at 30 June 2025) and offices in 23 towns and cities in the UK, as well as the Republic of Ireland and the Channel Islands. It works with private clients, family trusts and charities, as well as providing investment solutions to intermediaries.
Assets under management at Evelyn Partners climbed to a record £64.6bn in the first half of the year.
