The Financial Conduct Authority has secured High Court approval to return £2.5m to victims of a series of unauthorised collective investment schemes (UCIS).

The Financial Conduct Authority has fined Professional Personal Claims Limited (PPC) £70,000 for “misleading consumers” through its websites and printed materials.

The FCA has secured a confiscation order of £291,070.36 against a convicted fraudster.

The FCA has urged members of the public who lost money in an unauthorised scheme called the Churchgate Trading Syndicate and who may be eligible to receive some of their money back, to get in contact with the FCA.
