Fintech Twenty7tec has launched a new AI-ready client engagement platform that it said gives clients one place to manage their digital relationship with their adviser.
It has named the new client portal Steppl.
The firm claimed it will allow advice firms “to create configurable client journeys that improve the client experience, reduce administration and adapt to the way their business already works.”
It said the portal will help with onboarding and engagement by allowing firms to configure their own fact finds, stages, and tasks around the way they work.
Additional services including credit information, digital identity and liveness verification while document scanning can be licensed separately.
James Tucker, CEO of Twenty7tec, said: “The aim isn't to digitise the adviser out of the process. It's the opposite. If technology can take care of more of the collecting, chasing and administration, advisers have more time for the conversations where their expertise matters.”
He said clients don't see a mortgage, pension or protection need as a collection of different systems and processes. He said they see one relationship with their adviser, and the technology around that relationship should feel just as joined up.
The firm said Steppl will connect into Twenty7tec's technology ecosystem, including ADVICE and RESEARCH, helping information captured from the client flow into the wider advice process rather than sitting in another disconnected system. The firm said its platform strategy is built around reducing duplicate data and connecting client engagement, sourcing, advice delivery, compliance and reporting.
It said the platform is also designed to support relationships beyond an individual case, giving clients an ongoing digital connection to their advice firm as new needs and enquiries arise. It added that the platform's secure messaging, document sharing and ongoing servicing capabilities are intended to help firms remain relevant beyond the initial transaction.
