This month sees the launch of the prestigious Financial Planner of the Year Awards 2012.

The March meeting of Cotswold branch was hosted by Zurich in their splendid offices in Bishop’s Cleeve, near Cheltenham.

The IFP Scotland branch has operated a new format this year running a meeting in Glasgow over lunch and then another in Edinburgh early evening. So far this has proven to be a success.

In April, the IFP began its national PR campaign aimed at highlighting the benefits of Financial Planning and, in particular, the services of CFP^CM professionals and Accredited Financial Planning Firms^TM, to consumers.

Annette Kinsman from Succession Advisory Services gave East Anglia branch an “absolutely outstanding” presentation on building relationships with solicitors and accountants. Her detailed knowledge was second to none, writes branch chairman Chris Adams CFP^CM.
