Beyond Financial will join IWP’s regional hub Alexander Grace.
Beyond Financial was established in 2007 and the team has over 100 years of combined experience. It is based in Solihull and has £58m of assets under advice.
Tony O’Driscoll will remain as a director of the firm and will continue to lead Beyond Financial’s team of Paraplanners and administrators.
Beyond Financial is the latest of several acquisitions for the fast-expanding group. Earlier this month IWP acquired Scottish Financial Planning firm Gilmour Hamilton Wealth Management in a move to extend its presence north of the border.
Mr O’Driscoll said: “Our business is built on helping people achieve and maintain their desired lifestyle, so clients are always at the centre of everything we do. This is why Alexander Grace was such a good fit for us. Combined with the central support that comes from being part of IWP I am excited to see continued growth at Beyond Financial as well as the benefits for our existing clients.”
Neil Padget, CEO of Alexander Grace, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Beyond Financial to the team at Alexander Grace and our wider IWP group. This acquisition represents a great first step in our plans for growth, building IWP’s presence and reputation in the West Midlands.”
David Inglesfield, CEO of IWP, said: “Tony has built a brilliant business in Beyond Financial and I am thrilled to welcome him and the team to IWP and Alexander Grace. We look forward to supporting both of these businesses as they grow and build on the excellent client service they already provide.”
IWP, which has made numerous acquisitions in recent years, said that while it acquires local firms it leaves the day to day management in the hands of local teams, who may also retain some ownership of the business.
Mr Inglesfield was interviewed for the cover feature of the latest edition of Financial Planning Today Magazine, in which he shared some of the secrets of his businesses success.
