Most financial advisers are ignoring business protection for clients, according to a study by Aegon which has released a new guide to business protection insurance.

A new survey has found that  34% of advised clients become less cautious about investment risk following a discussion with their adviser, compared to just 16% who become more cautious.

Dutch-owned Aegon is to scrap its Scottish-based fund manager brand Kames Capital in a move towards what it calls a ‘globally-integrated’ model.

Research by a financial provider has found that 4.8m people who could ‘comfortably’ pay for financial advice reject seeing an adviser even though it could be of financial benefit to them.
