Fairstone, one of the UK’s largest Chartered Financial Planning firms, has acquired Essex-based Andrew Cohen Associates after integrating the business under its Downstream Buy Out model.

Chartered Financial Planning firm Fairstone has seen its client base rise to 59,000 – a 5% increase over the past six months – with three firms joining its Downstream Buy Out (DBO) programme and a further four being fully acquired by the business.

Chartered Financial Planner Fairstone has revealed the acquisition of two firms - Bankfield Financial Advisers and South West Financial Planning.

Chartered Financial Planning firm Fairstone signed up London-based Premier Portfolio Financial Services to its downstream buy-out programme.
